We have taken rusty wrecks which have been sat for decades and have very little usable body work left, and delivered cars that look showroom new. All mechanical components and running gear refurbished, new wiring, new pipework, chrome plating, paint work and interior work.

If your plan is to personally complete the build , we recommend the body shell work is carried out professionally by us. Whether it’s a new chassis and build up with new panels or original chassis and panel repairs, it is essential for the metal work to be accurate so problems can be avoided further down the line.

Aluminium panel repairs to a full aluminium bodyshell. Electrolytic corrosion normally occurs, over time,between the steel wings and aluminium shroud edges and is a common repair on all big Healeys. We also see a lot of bad repairs to the aluminium panels where bits of plate have been riveted and filled over instead of being welded.

Engine rebuilds include pressure testing the block and cylinder head, bottom end balancing and rear crank oil seal conversion. All components are checked for wear, damage and tolerance and replaced where necessary. Components and bores can also be machined if required.

Gear boxes are stripped down and cleaned. All components are inspected and worn parts replaced including bearings, gaskets and baulk rings. We will also repair over-drives and have them tested prior to fitting.

 Engine service including all filters, valve clearances, ignition timing, carb set up and replacement of worn out parts. Gearbox and diff oil replacement if needed. Brake parts replaced where needed and all adjustments made. Steering box oil replaced where necessary.
